(1) Glazed. Look carefully at the glaze, the glaze should be smooth and delicate.
(2) Color difference. Put a few ceramic
tiles together, look carefully under the light, good products have little color difference. The color tone between products is basically the same, while the color difference between the poor products is larger.
(3) Porcelain degree. The color and chromaticity of the
tiles are clear and natural, indicating that the degree of porcelain is high; the color is not clear, and the degree of porcelain is low.
(4) Colors. The color pattern should be delicate and realistic, and there should be no obvious defects such as lack of color, broken line, dislocation, etc.
(5) Water absorption rate. Put a few drops of tea juice or water on the back of the
tile, and after a few minutes, depending on the degree of inhalation and diffusion of the water droplets, the quality is good if it does not absorb water or has a low water absorption rate.
(6) Hardness. Tap the tile to hear whether the sound is crisp, the crisper the sound, the higher the degree and density of porcelain.
(7) Wear resistance. Scratch the
tile with a sharp object to observe whether it has scratches. If there are scratches, it means that the glaze has poor wear resistance and is easy to slip. After the glaze on the surface is polished, the tile surface cannot be cleaned if it is dirty.
(8) Glazed pinholes. When purchasing, observe with the naked eye whether there are pinholes on the surface within one meter. If there is, it means that the glaze surface is not completely integrated, and it is easy to accumulate dirt.
(9) Flatness. Check whether the side of the
tile is straight or not with the naked eye. If the warpage is serious, it will affect the firmness of the tile in the future.
(10) Dimensional deviation. Tile specifications can be measured with calipers. Good products have a small deviation in specifications. After paving, the products are neat and uniform, the brick seams are straight, and the decorative effect is good; poor products have large deviations and different product sizes.
(11) Color selection. The color of the exterior wall bricks should be in harmony with the surrounding environment. Generally, high-rise buildings should not choose white or too light-colored exterior wall decorative bricks to avoid making the building lack texture: in interior decoration. The color tone of floor tiles and interior wall
tiles should be coordinated with each other.
(12) Selection of tile types. Ceramic tiles should be selected according to the specific environment of use. For example, larger-sized polished tiles or antique tiles should be used in the living room, while non-slip and easy-to-clean whole-body tiles should be used in kitchens and bathrooms.
